Natural mud from Boryeong tidal flats on the west coast of Korea. A pottery pot fired at a high temperature is coated with a mineral-rich mud glaze.
High heat absorption rate and is lighter and safer than ordinary earthen pots.
It was hand-crafted in the way of pottery making, emphasizing the feeling of tradition.
In Korea, it is common to maintain health by eating hot foods cooked in Ttukbaegi earthenware pots in hot summer as well as in winter. The meat and soup cooked in a ttukbaegi pot have a deep and rich taste.
The color may differ from the photo depending on the temperature of the red clay and the flow of the glaze.
